Raise Education & Wellbeing School are currently seeking a Construction Work Skills Tutor to join our team.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver a range of vocational learning opportunities including construction, key life skills and employability. Tutoring will be 1-2-1 or with small class groups with students who have a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs, or require an alternative education provision. Students are predominantly working at entry level to L2. You will enable students to build confidence, skills, gain qualifications and work experience that prepares them for further education, apprenticeship and or full-time employment. This role involves working as part of a wider team to support safety, wellbeing, personal development, teaching and learning.
About Raise Education & Wellbeing School
Raise Education and Wellbeing school is a trauma informed independent SEMH special school that caters for 11 to 19 year olds (up to 25 if their needs require) with education and healthcare plans in addition we provide a Day 6 service to councils for children that have been permanently excluded, providing them with specialist assessment in order to determine their overall needs. We are a new school, having registered in 2016 and received an Ofsted judgement of Good with Outstanding features, in 2017 & 2022.
