Safeguarding
Our school takes the safety and wellbeing of students extremely seriously. We are vigilant and perpetually curious, to ensure that our school community is a place of safety and support. Our Strategic Safeguarding & Wellbeing Lead is our DSL and oversees all school safeguarding and risk management. They are assisted by a team which includes two additional qualified social workers, a Safety & Wellbeing Lead Practitioner and an Attendance Practitioner. They are a member of, and are supported by the school’s SLT, many of whom have extensive safeguarding experience.
MyConcern
Safeguarding concerns are recorded in MyConcern, a secure and trusted safeguarding software tool widely used in schools, colleges and other organisations in the UK and worldwide. MyConcern was created by former Senior Police Officers with over 60 years of experience in safeguarding and child protection to enable staff to easily record, report and manage all safeguarding, well-being and pastoral concerns to enable early intervention.

- Interventions.
- Communication tracking.
