Founded in 2011 and based in Bolton, Raise The Youth Foundation is a not-for-profit Social Enterprise that provides totally unique Education and Therapeutic support for Greater Manchester’s hard to reach young people (aged 11-25) and their families. Working closely with the Community also forms an important part of our overall plans and vision.

Raise Education & Wellbeing School forms part of the Raise The Youth Foundation and is proud to be able to offer outstanding Education and Therapeutic support for young people who are mostly in the Looked After Care System with social, emotional and mental health issues.

Raise Education & Wellbeing School is a Registered Specialist Independent School and looks forward to building on this as part of its aims and objectives. Crucially, Raise has an overall responsibility for meeting 170 Independent School Standards, as well as ensuring it is working towards becoming an Outstanding Independent Therapeutic School.

Raise provides a really unique person-centred led approach and offers a wide range of highly qualified professional teaching and support staff, together with an infrastructure that is designed to achieve best value, quality and, above all, puts Young People first.

Raise has at its heart a determined, caring and successful approach in helping to re-engage young people and help them to realise their true potential. In fact, many of our young people have already benefited from this approach and have gone on to fulfil their dreams and ambitions.
